Over the last twenty years, we have been successfully applying our approach in more than thirty industries (from B2C to B2B, from products to services, from profit to non-profit organizations, from private companies to public institutions) in more than twenty countries.

Even if our contribution is focused on methodology and doesn’t need an in-depth knowledge of a specific industry, that is supposed to be conferred by our clients/partners in the model-based co-management process, the number of industry sectors in which we have been working confirms the applicability of our approach in any possible context.

We conceived, designed and realized decision support models for the most diverse managerial applications, in both operational and educational contexts.

Some of these tools are currently being adopted by educators and consultants (including ourselves as authors and developers), in the context of various management education and consulting projects sponsored by ICE (The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade): over the last five years, more than 300 SMEs around Italy have been using selected tools, with significant results in terms of improvement of their methodological approach to internationalization.

Recently, we also designed and developed for Confartigianato, one of the largest Italian trade associations, a web-based tool that helps the associated SMEs at identifying their strengths and weaknesses in the area of internationalization, and, based on the results of a detailed analysis, suggests the most appropriate strategies and actions for improving their international readiness and their performance in the foreign markets.
